With the Foldit Narrative Team at the UC Davis ModLab, I am co-developer of a new storyline for the tutorial levels of the citizen science video game, Foldit. We are testing the role of science fiction narrative in helping new players to engage with the game and its complex modeling of protein biochemistry.
